Vodafone are the only network that i am aware of who provides this great service. If you have a contract with them you can ask them to unlock your phone for free so that you can put SIM cards from other networks in it. Just get your phones IMEI number which you can get by typing *#06# then call customer service on 191 and ask them nicely to unlock your phone.
