We are looking forward to an exciting 2016. The world’s longest and tallest tunnel slide is now being built, complete with transparent sections to let you marvel at the view as you make the 45 second descent.

The design for the Slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit was created by Belgian artist Carsten Höller at the invitation of Anish Kapoor. This is a unique collaboration between two of the world’s leading artists and a major new art installation for the capital.

February Half Term

We're open as usual during the construction of the Slide and between 13 and 21 February every full paying adult can bring a child with them for free. With sweeping panoramic views of the city from the UK's tallest sculpture, it's the perfect way to keep the kids entertained this half term. Every ArcelorMittal Orbit ticket is an Annual Pass until April

During the building of the Slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit, all single visit tickets will be automatically upgraded to an Annual Pass free of charge. Please note that the lower platform of the ArcelorMittal Orbit will be closed during installation of the Slide, but there's plenty to do on the upper platform 80m above the Park, with Anish Kapoor's mind-bending mirrors, the expansive views from the external balconies and the interactive viewing screens. During the construction period we also have a special exhibition on the history of the Park as we start to celebrate four years since the summer of London 2012.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10K Race
